At DNP, we understand that all business activities have an impact on the environment. Therefore, the company always focuses on environmental protection during its operation.
All subsidiaries have environmental impact assessments approved by local authorities before implementing projects. In addition, all units strictly comply with environmental quality supervision, perform waste collection and treatment, not release industrial water to the environment, retreat all waste water from the production process (in the Water sector), and recycle and reuse 100% of waste products in the plastic industry. All production units are fully equipped with domestic wastewater treatment systems meeting QCVN 14: 2008 – National technical regulation on domestic wastewater quality.
The use of green energy is promoted by making use of solar power at Binh Hiep, Binh Thuan water plant and Tan Phu – Long An plant, with others plants being scheduled for implementation.
Thanks to consistent policies on environmental protection throughout the system, no subsidiaries of DNP has committed violations in environmental issues. Instead, they always receive consensus and appreciation from the public community and local government.
Over the years, DNP has always strived for labor safety, ensuring the labor regime and salary policy as well as bringing the best policies for employees.
Annually, all subsidiaries coordinate with functional agencies to conduct training and rehearsal of labor safety and fire prevention, and conduct formal training on labor safety rules for employees, especially new employees.
Labor safety supervision is always well taken of and implemented by the subsidiaries. Employees are always provided with adequate tools and safety equipment at work. Annually, the number of incidents is very low in all units (fewer than 10 cases/company/year), mostly minor incidents due to carelessness of employees. In 2019 and 2020, Dong Nai Plastic plant and Tan Phu plants renovated the system and supplemented fire protection equipment at the request of functional authorities to ensure fire and explosion safety under regulations.
Annually, all employees are offered free health check-up at least one time, contributing to ensuring their health.
The long-term development of an enterprise is based on a sustainable, stable and prosperous community. Therefore, at DNP, in addition to business development orientations, we always define our responsibility to the community and try to contribute to general development of society in the true spirit of “Do better” every day.
Over the past two years, DNP has sponsored the construction and installation of 25 free drinking water fountains in seven provinces and cities nationwide, namely Hanoi, Long An, Binh Thuan, Bac Giang, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh and Dak Lak, creating a new cultural feature for urban people and serving clean drinking water for the locals.
Investing in education is investing for growth. With that motto, DNP has always strongly favored and given special attention and resources to sponsor education projects such as a scholarship program “Wings of dreams” in Bac Giang, “Give love – Receive a smile” at Na Meo kindergarten – Hoa Binh, signing a MOU regarding research and application of science and technology, training high-quality human resources and improving capacity with Thuy Loi University, or a non-profit project “Fairy Land”.
